Professional Training Opportunities Now Available

We are pleased to announce a new two-hour training workshop geared towards assisted living that covers the basics of dementia, dealing with challenging behaviors, and communication.

While we continue to offer our more in-depth training on each of these imprtant subjects, in order to accommodate the needs of many long-term care facilities, we have created this two-hour workshop. Plans are in development for a special workbook and an online version! Please contact Training Specialist Connie Hudson for more information.

More and more, families want to know that those who care for their loved ones have been properly trained in dementia care, that they understand the needs of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, and that they are prepared to meet the challenges related to their care.

We are pleased to be able to offer a variety of topics relevant to the issues faced by both the family caregiver and healthcare professional.

Click here for more information about current training opportunities. To schedule a session, or for more information, contact Connie Hudson at connie.hudson@alz.org.
